Fredrick Killingbeck

Fred Killingbeck has been in the medical field since the age of 16 when he started working as an orderly in the emergency room at Merced General Hospital and Mercy Hospital in Merced, California. He has since worked in almost every area of hospitals in several states, including ER, ICU, and Cath Lab as well as in the field as an EMT, EMT-I, EMT-P, and Registered Nurse.

He has served as a hospital Critical Care Educator, Paramedic Coordinator, an Area EMS Coordinator, Director of Prehospital Education, and Vice President of Planning and Development for EMS Services. Other experience includes service as Theosophical Leader, High School Math and Science Teacher, and College Faculty for Nursing, Pharmacology, and EMS.

He has been teaching everything from basic EMTs and paramedics to critical care nurses and emergency medicine residents since 1984 and has earned a reputation for turning complex and confusing information into simple and clear concepts.
