Fred Killingbeck, RN, EMT-P
Fred Killingbeck has been in the medical field since the age of 17 when he started working as an orderly in the emergency room at Mercy Catholic Hospital in Merced, California. He has since worked in almost every area of the hospital including ER, ICU, and Cath Lab as well as in the field as an EMT, EMT-I, EMT-P, and Registered Nurse.
He has served as a hospital Critical Care Educator, Paramedic Coordinator, an Area EMS Coordinator and Director of Prehospital Education.
He has been teaching everything from basic EMTs and paramedics to critical care nurses and emergency medicine residents since 1984 and has earned a reputation for turning complex and confusing information into simple and clear concepts.
