Carl Lind, NREMT-P
Carl is a 3rd generation native Arizonan. He has been an EMT and Paramedic in the state for over 20 years. His diverse background in EMS includes volunteer, special events, construction, industrial, wilderness, rural, suburban, urban, ground and air ambulance and Fire District service.
Carl was naturally drawn to education and through his association with experts in the field, he developed his own no nonsense, street-wise style of teaching. He is able to relate to students with his own extensive experience in various aspects of EMS. He is an AHA TC Faculty for ACLS, PALS, and BLS, Affiliate Faculty for ITLS, Affiliate Faculty for AMLS, Certified EMT and Paramedic Instructor, and Wilderness Emergency Medicine Instructor. He was awarded the American Ambulance Association Star of Life Award in 1996.
He is an avid hiker, backpacker and all around outdoorsman with a special love for the Grand Canyon where he has spent many days hiking and river rafting.
