Annette Topliff, BSN, NREMT
Annette started her Nursing Career in 1979 after graduating from Toledo Hospital Diploma School of Nursing. She began working with medical/surgical patients and Pediatric Oncology patients. 1983 found her moving to the desert where she changed the course of her career and went into the Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph Hospital. Her ability to lead allowed her to move quickly into the charge nurse position. She had a strong desire to improve patient care and work flow. This desire brought her to be Nurse Manager for 2 years. During this time she obtained her BSN from the University of Phoenix, graduating in 1990. Case Management was just beginning to come on the scene and Annette moved into this position. Improved patient care and work flow remained her goal. It was only natural that these abilities and her positive interaction with people allowed her to successfully start up a specialty unit for Vencor, and a Home Health office for Gentiva. She has the ability to walk into chaos and manage the people and the work flow. Annette is known for her positive energy, ability to work in an ever changing environment, interpersonal skills and the desire for positive patient outcomes. She believes in the human factor and that we all can learn and grow from our mistakes. She is a natural fit with Wizard as she shares the Vision.
Outside of Wizard she is a mom, wife, and daughter. Her passion is her family, given and chosen, and her dogs. She loves to read and her favorite place on earth is the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
