Amy Boise, EMT-P
Amy’s roots in Emergency Medicine go back to 1985 when she was an EMT and a 9-1-1 dispatcher in The White Mountains of Arizona. She continued to pursue her education by becoming an IEMT and then a Paramedic. She has worked in hospitals as well as in the field. Amy’s passion for quality patient care, her natural ability, and her personable disposition led her to pursue a career in education.
She first worked at St Joseph’s Hospital in the prehospital education department, she then became an American Heart Association Instructor and Training Center Faculty, and has taught more ACLS, PALS and BLS classes than she can count. She began working with AZ BTLS in 1994, was appointed AZ BTLS Chapter Coordinator in 2002 and was elected to the BTLS International Board of Directors in 2004.
When not teaching you can find her scuba diving or hiking and exploring beautiful Arizona. She also reads palms - find out what yours says!!
